To mark the unveiling of the Dior Bamboo Pavilion, the only Japanese-brand hotel in Tokyo to hold the industry’s two most coveted ratings – Forbes Travel Guide’s Five Stars and Michelin Guide’s Three Keys – has launched an exclusive collaboration celebrating the long-standing artistic ties between Dior and Japan.
Located in Tokyo’s chic Daikanyama neighborhood, the Dior Bamboo Pavilion is a one-of-a-kind concept store paying homage to Christian Dior’s love of the beauty of nature. Reminiscent of the hôtel particulierat 30 Avenue Montaigne and illuminated nightly, the Pavilion’s golden façade takes inspiration from Japanese bamboo forests and is crafted from aluminium.
Inside, the scene is imbued with modern Parisian sophistication and features exceptional Japanese artisanship. Outside, a conceptual garden conceived by Japanese landscape designer Seijun Nishihata further evokes the extraordinary artistry that arises when Japanese and French creativity and passion are woven together.
