Revelstoke Mountain Resort Launches Summer 2026 Season with Mountain Coasters, Skywalk Adventures and Alpine Escapes

Summer in the mountains takes on a new level of adventure at Revelstoke Mountain Resort as the destination officially launches its 2026 summer season on June 5. Known for its towering peaks, dramatic alpine scenery and year-round outdoor experiences, the resort is welcoming travelers back with an expanded lineup of activities designed for thrill-seekers, families and nature lovers alike.

Set in the heart of British Columbia’s Columbia Valley, Revelstoke Mountain Resort continues to evolve into one of Canada’s premier four-season destinations. This summer, visitors can expect everything from adrenaline-pumping mountain adventures to scenic gondola rides, alpine hiking and relaxed mountaintop dining experiences.

One of the biggest draws this season is the return of the Pipe Mountain Coaster, a dual-track alpine coaster stretching 1.4 kilometres through forested terrain, ski runs and tunnels. With a vertical drop of 279 metres, the coaster delivers a fast-paced ride that blends speed, scenery and mountain thrills into one unforgettable experience.

The RMR Pipe Mountain Coaster includes two parallel tracks, each 1.4 km long with a 279-meter vertical drop for an exhilarating ride of twists and turns across ski runs, between glades and through tunnels.

Another highlight is the Revelstoke Skywalk, which first debuted in 2025 and quickly became one of the region’s signature attractions. Featuring a suspension bridge and cantilevered viewing platform suspended high above the Columbia Valley, the Skywalk offers panoramic mountain vistas and a dramatic new way to experience Revelstoke’s rugged landscape. The attraction officially opens for the season on June 5, with a public grand opening celebration scheduled for June 20.

For travelers looking to slow the pace and immerse themselves in the alpine environment, the Revelation Gondola provides access to more than 20 kilometres of hiking trails, scenic viewpoints and high-elevation terrain perfect for sightseeing and photography. Mountain biking also remains a major focus at the resort, with the Revelstoke Bike Park continuing to expand its network of technical descents and flow trails suitable for riders of varying skill levels.

Families visiting the resort will find no shortage of activities throughout the summer season. The Aerial Adventure Park features more than 50 obstacles including rope swings, climbing elements and free-fall challenges, while children and youth programs offer guided biking camps and outdoor adventure experiences designed to build confidence and mountain skills.

Dining also plays an important role in the Revelstoke experience. Guests can enjoy casual mountainside meals, fresh pastries and café offerings throughout the resort, while Mackenzie Common Tavern and Revelation Lodge expand their summer operations beginning June 20. Sunset Dining at Revelation Lodge adds another memorable alpine experience, pairing panoramic mountain views with elevated evening cuisine on select dates throughout the season.

For those wanting to maximize their visit, the resort’s Adventure Pass returns for summer 2026, bundling together unlimited gondola rides with access to the Revelstoke Skywalk, the Aerial Adventure Park and one ride on the Pipe Mountain Coaster.

Introduced in 2025, the Revelstoke Skywalk features a suspension bridge and cantilevered viewing deck that offers sweeping panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and Columbia Valley.

Beyond the resort itself, the town of Revelstoke continues to attract visitors with its vibrant downtown, surrounding national parks, lakes and endless outdoor recreation opportunities. Whether travelers are chasing mountain thrills, scenic escapes or a laid-back alpine getaway, Revelstoke delivers a summer experience that feels both adventurous and distinctly Canadian.

Summer operations at Revelstoke Mountain Resort officially begin June 5, 2026, with expanded activities and programming continuing throughout the peak summer months.
