Slow Travel, Wild Beauty: Prana by Atzaro Unveils Sustainable Sailing for 2026

Described by Forbes as “probably the best charter yacht experience in the world,” and winner of a place on the coveted Condé Nast Traveller Gold List, Prana by Atzaró is the ultimate luxury travel experience for discerning adventure seekers. Hand-built with traditional methods, the world’s biggest and most opulent phinisi yacht sails some of the most remote and pristine East Indonesion islands, including Raja Ampat, Komodo National Park, and the Spice Islands.

Prana by Atzaró supports sustainability and conservation projects related to the protection of marine ecosystems, biodiversity, and the livelihoods of coastal communities in Indonesia, collaborating with “The Misool Foundation“ – and its objective is to dedicate 3% of its annual profits.

The Misool Foundation is supported by Prana by Atzaró annually, their actions in line with the yacht’s respect for the East Indonesian archaeology it voyages, Prana by Atzaró being a “Guardian of Misool”.

Encounter majestic Komodo dragons in their natural habitat and snorkel alongside graceful whale sharks, explore some of the world’s most pristine coral reefs, and meet manta rays, sharks, schooling fish, and turtles along the way, and experience exceptional bird and marine life.

Prana by Atzaró will be funding projects that include:

Coral Reef Conservation and Restoration
Coral restoration projects in Raja Ampat, Flores, and the Spice Islands, focusing on the transplantation of corals and the creation of artificial reefs.
The support of local communities in establishing and maintaining coral nurseries.

Community-Based Marine Protection
The establishment and management of community-led marine protected areas in collaboration with local communities.
Resources for community-driven monitoring and enforcement efforts to protect marine biodiversity.

Projects that promote alternative, eco-friendly packaging solutions for local businesses.

Mangrove Conservation and Restoration
Mangrove restoration projects in coastal areas of Raja Ampat, Flores, and the Spice Islands to enhance coastal resilience and provide critical habitats for marine life.
Engagement of local communities in mangrove planting and protection activities.

Alternative Livelihood Programs
Projects that provide alternative livelihoods for communities dependent on marine resources within or near national marine parks.  The development of sustainable income-generating activities that reduce pressure on marine ecosystems.
