This summer, Ojai Valley Inn is upping the ante by offering new activities and programming for all ages, including new themed kids activities at Camp Oak, Movie Nights on the lawn, Family Craft Hours, Horseback Riding, new summer menus at Olivella and The Oak, and more. Plus, with multi-room suites and villas, a newly renovated Casa Elar villa, and luxuriously appointed guest rooms, Ojai Valley Inn is making it even easier to travel with kids, grandparents, and even pets.

Summer Movie Nights
Ojai Valley Inn Presents…Summer Movie Nights! Screening a beloved list of family-favorites on the lawn, each movie night will be complete with all of the movie night necessities including popcorn, snacks and beverages for all ages.
Camp Oak
While parents enjoy a weekend getaway at the iconic resort, kids are invited to participate in creative exploration at Camp Oak. With full day, half day and night camp programming offered year-round, parents can sneak away to the spa or enjoy a romantic dinner while the kids are having fun. Young guests (ages 4-12) will enjoy immersive themed programming curated to the Ojai experience. Camp Oak incorporates arts and crafts, science experiments, scavenger hunts throughout the resort grounds, and a host of other activities to keep our campers engaged and eager to learn. In partnership with Art Box Academy, Camp Oak’s programming includes educational projects and daily themed lessons while incorporating Ojai’s rich history and highlighting the flora and fauna that surrounds us. Campers will have the opportunity to explore themes such as Chumash Native Americans, Space Camp, Color Wars, Critter Connection, and Around the World. Full Day: 9am to 4pm snacks and lunch included; Half Day: 9am to 12pm, snacks included; Night Camp: 5pm to 10pm, dinner included.
Adventure
Leaning into guests’ adventurous side, Ojai Valley Inn offers a number of activities whether you’re an animal lover, outdoor enthusiast, or just looking to get outside. Guests with a love of animals can enjoy Horseback Riding through River Valley Trail ride, perfectly suited for the beginner or intermediate rider in the family. Enjoying a leisurely pace, riders will enjoy breathtaking views of the Topatopa mountain range. Get out on the water with stand up Paddleboarding, Fishing, Surf Lessons and Kayaking or get a tour of the beautiful valley mountains on a guided open-air Jeep Tour that can be tailored to families, wine lovers, outdoor enthusiasts and corporate groups alike. Additionally, partnering with the Ojai Raptor Center, a local non-profit organization boasting the largest aviary for raptors in rehabilitation in California. Guests are able to tour the facility, meet three Ojai Raptor Center ambassadors, and receive an All About Owls presentation.
Nostalgic Camp Offerings
Summer camp meets serenity, where guests can enjoy house-made s’mores kits to roast fireside on the resort’s main lawn overlooking the TopaTopa Mountains. For in-room fun, The Inn offers Game Night Baskets featuring three bags of Popcornopolis popcorn, a s’mores kit, a vintage set of Jacks, a classic card game (think: Old Main, Go Fish, Slap Jack, and Crazy 8’s), a 5-in-1 Magnetic Travel Game Set (includes Checkers, Chess, Backgammon, Dominos, and a deck of playing cards), Charades, Connect 4, and Sorry. Once the games have come to a close, guests can unwind with a complimentary in-room movie. What’s more, guests play for keeps and can take their nostalgic game night basket home following their stay.
