Situated on a private beachfront location on Denarau Island – Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa – proudly announces the completion of its extensive renovation program.
A 50-million-dollar capital investment, led by interior design studio CHADA whose inspiration stemmed from the resort’s local surroundings where land meets the ocean, the renovation which took three years to complete features a total transformation of guestrooms and public spaces including several new amenities and experiences for travellers to enjoy.
The first full renovation since the property opened its doors in 2005, Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa presents today a new and modern retreat where beach resort merges with luxury hotel facilities, surrounded by Fiji’s beauty and culture, polished by a touch of French elegance.

Family-Friendly Fun
Spread across 26-acres of lush gardens with views extending the Nadi Bay, families can choose from a variety of room categories including 52 new Family Rooms which feature one queen bed and two bunk beds as well as other daily inclusions like access to Sofitel’s new Nui Kids Beach Club and Teen Zone. Introduced as part of the renovation, the Nui Kids Beach Club is suitable for children 3 to 12 years old with a splash and play area, climbing wall, trampoline, fun house on the beach, plus three interactive indoor spaces. The new Teen Zone is great for junior guests aged 8 to 16 years old with a variety of interactive arcade style games. Families can also enjoy the pool, the beach and complimentary non-motorised water sports including kayaking, stand-up paddle board and Hobie cat sailing. Motorised water sport activities are also available for an additional cost.
Adults-Only Waitui Beach Club
An adults-only sanctuary located within Sofitel Fiji Resort & Spa, the concept of Waitui Beach Club was to create a private, boutique style area. A ‘resort within a resort,’ the exclusive Beach Club boasts a brand-new arrival area, an infinity pool, luxury cabanas for unwinding, as well as a bar, swim-up bar, and restaurant. Perfect for couples, the Waitui experience is more personalised with a focus on health and wellness where guests can reenergise yet still enjoy poolside drinks and nightly entertainment.
