Hacienda del Mar (HDM) Los Cabos Resort announces the launch of its new offerings for Jewish and Indian weddings with options that include kosher dining and Hindu rituals.
As part of HDM’s efforts towards inclusivity and welcoming guests of all backgrounds, the resort is expanding its services and now offers kosher services that include sensitivities to religious and spiritual traditions of the Jewish faith. And, depending on how strict one’s beliefs or dietary restrictions are, HDM’s wedding team is available to accommodate most any request. An on-site Rabbi is also available for hire and to help add to the experience of one’s unique, traditional Jewish wedding.
Additionally, for Hindu guests wishing to host their culturally distinctive wedding at the sprawling property, HDM provides for services that incorporate rituals and celebrations that respect Indian tradition. The merging of two individuals in an Indian wedding means to also unite two families, and HDM is the venue where these important events can take place.
“We excel in services for our guests who require more specialized attention to detail as they plan out their wedding ceremonies specific to their cultural and religious traditions,” said Angelica Basurto, HDM Marketing Director. “And we also offer our Kocher services to other non-religious events, as required.”
HDM has a solid environment and local team for wedding catering services. From its six (6) restaurants, including Pitahayas, De Cortez, Tomates, Las Sirenas, El Burro Cansado, and Tortugas, to its venue spaces and different locations throughout the property, HDM offers a mouthwatering array of food options and places to celebrate. The resort also offers Kocher services to other non-religious events, as required by guests.
The De Cortez Beach and Pool Deck offer two spacious settings with oceanside or poolside options for 200-300 guests. The Plazuela can accommodate 150 guests in banquet style and up to 200 guests for the ceremony and cocktail reception. A key benefit of HDM as a wedding destination is that its layout allows it to close specific parts of the property without requiring a total buyout of the entire hotel. The buildings and surroundings create for unique locations that are beneficial for the scale of many Jewish and Hindu wedding ceremonies. The hotel also has a consecrated chapel on-site that is ideal for symbolic and religious ceremonies with a capacity for up to 80 guests.
The Hacienda del Mar (HDM) Los Cabos Resort is reminiscent of a seaside village, with 11 acres overlooking the Sea of Cortez. The sprawling property includes a centralized building that spreads out to 32 unique villas with 542 rooms and suites designed in the captivating combination of traditional Mexican Colonial elements and stylish Mediterranean touches. It features six restaurants, five bars, five swimming pools, a spa and a fitness center. HDM additionally offers a children’s club, and a 1,670 square foot convention center (one of the largest in Los Cabos).
