A highlight of the warmer months is the hotel’s rooftop bar, Bar & Rooftop 1838, reopening for the season on 14th May. The space will host a resident DJ, bringing a vibrant energy to spring and summer evenings. Until the end of May, guests can also enjoy live performances from Don Canwood, jazz pianist and vocalist, whose curated sets create an elegant, relaxed atmosphere overlooking the rooftops of Cognac.
The hotel also celebrates the region’s rich distilling heritage with its “Jeudi des Distillateurs,” held every other Thursday at Bar 1838. These evenings spotlight a different cognac house each time, offering tastings that showcase the craftsmanship and traditions of the region, alongside creative cognac-based cocktails crafted by the hotel’s bartenders.
