Adventure seekers now have the chance to bike Norway unlike ever before, thanks to a new integrated itinerary from Norrøna Adventure that unlocks access to two of the brand’s most iconic destinations: Varg Sail Yacht and Canvas Telemark.

The Ultimate Mountain Bike Adventure is an eight-day expedition that blends urban heritage with world-class trails. The journey is anchored by two unique locations: the secluded Canvas Telemark, a world-first mountain bike hotel, featuring over 120km of singletrack, and the majestic Varg S/Y in the North, recently named one of TIME’s World’s Greatest Places.
“We wanted to combine our two most sought-after experiences into a single journey that takes riders from the remote wilderness of Telemark to the edge of the Arctic Circle,” says Jørgen Jørgensen, CEO and fourth-generation owner of Norrøna. “This isn’t just about the riding, it’s about the contrast of waking up in a remote luxury wilderness camp one day and on a private yacht in a remote fjord the next. It’s the ultimate way to experience the real Norway, guided by people who have spent their lives in these mountains.”
From Forested Highlands to High-Latitude Fjords
Available for private charter from June to September, the eight-day trip hosts 4–6 guests and includes all logistics – from high-end accommodation, meals, and internal flights to bike rental and expert guiding.

The journey begins at the flagship Norrøna House in Oslo for a heritage briefing and gear fine-tuning before heading deep into the wilderness. Guests are accompanied by lead guides who tailor each day’s route to the group’s skill level, ensuring an optimal balance of challenge and comfort.
Trip Highlights Include:
- Legendary Granite “Slickrock”: Bike legendary granite “slickrock” and flowy Norwegian forest trails (S2-S3 grade on the Single Track Scale).
- Exclusive Access: Explore 120km of world-class terrain at your doorstep, and wake up in a new fjord every morning aboard Varg, gaining exclusive access to untouched landscapes inaccessible by road.
- Daily Wellness Rituals: Enjoy wood-fired saunas, outdoor bathtubs, and hot tubs every night – both in the mountains and on the deck of the yacht.
- Local Norwegian Cuisine: Gourmet communal dining featuring locally sourced ingredients prepared by private chefs both in camp and on deck.

“From fresh coffee delivered to your yurt in the highlands to dropping anchor in a secluded northern fjord, this is a true biking dream,” adds Jørgensen. “Whether sharing stories in a sauna or enjoying a communal dinner, this experience is about the deep connection between the rider, the gear, and the most spectacular landscapes Norway has to offer.”
