Guests have a choice of a seafood, meat or vegetarian menu or can opt for a whisky-only tasting, accompanied by stories from each one’s distillery.

A trip to Gallipoli fish market and lunch in a historic palace: For those wanting to explore Puglia’s rich cultural heritage, a trip to the vibrant Gallipoli fish market provides the ideal opportunity to walk amidst the local fisherman and find a catch of the day. Guides will lead guests to an impressive noble palace complete with a museum and historic Apulian Wunderkammer ‘chamber of wonders’ where guests will learn how to make fresh pasta and delicate almond cakes, which are delicacies of the region. Once the catch of the day has been baked, guests can enjoy a sumptuous lunch amidst the historic beauty of an ancient palace for a truly unique culinary experience.

Beginning at a local chocolatier that dates back to 1875, guests will sample sweet creations that champion the local region before cruising through the Salentine peninsula to an 18th Century palace with a secret garden rich with the fragrance of citrus. Exploring the wine filled cellars, as well as the traditional oak casks, guest will learn about the original Norman family who arrived in Apulia in the 11th Century and moved into wine production with the aim of protecting their heritage and cultivating the land.
