As part of their annual Spa Trends Report 2025, online booking site SpaSeekers.com has revealed the top trending spa destinations worldwide, based on increases in Google search data. The results highlight the most up-and-coming destinations for spa holidays for the year ahead, with locations ranging from those with mineral and thermal springs to far-flung jungle paradise retreats.
Based on the research, Vietnam is the top trending spa destination for 2025, with a significant 175% increase in searches for spa trips globally. Known for its beautiful beaches and tropical jungles, Vietnam offers exotic backdrops that allow spa-goers to truly escape the mundanity and worries of daily life. With many healing and relaxation retreats, visitors can expect a variety of experiences, from meditation to thermal springs, and Vietnamese massages to herbal baths.
Morocco follows in second place, with an 84% increase in searches. A country with a long history of spas, Morocco is a haven for fans of hammams. More recently, thalassotherapy has become another popular choice, with water and seaweed-based treatments designed to soothe and revitalize the skin and body.
Albania and Romania tie in third place, each with an 83% increase in searches. Albania, an emerging destination in Europe, offers a unique blend of coastal and mountainous landscapes, providing the perfect setting for a relaxing spa getaway.
