A new resort on Grenada’s southeastern coast is preparing to welcome its first holiday guests. InterContinental Grenada Resort & Spa is scheduled to open on November 4, 2026, along La Sagesse Bay, with a festive program that brings together Caribbean dining, family activities, wellness and a New Year’s Eve celebration.
The 120-room beachfront property will have five dining venues, a spa, fitness facilities and a pool and beach club overlooking the bay. Its first holiday season offers a closer look at how the resort intends to use those spaces, with events ranging from a Boxing Day gathering to a rooftop welcome for 2027. Holiday meals with Caribbean and Mediterranean influences
The dining calendar moves between Grenadian flavors and international traditions. At Mosaic, the Island Hopping Buffet will draw on cuisines from across the Caribbean, with action stations and dishes inspired by the region’s ingredients. The restaurant will also host a Boxing Day lunch centered on seasonal favorites and Grenadian flavors, giving families and groups a place to gather the day after Christmas.
Coralie will take a Mediterranean direction. Its Paella Night will feature regional paellas and Spanish-style fideuàserved family-style, while Tinto & Tapas will pair small plates with Spanish wines. These meals add variety to a holiday stay, whether guests are looking for a shared dinner or a more leisurely evening over several dishes.
Solara Rooftop will host a Sushi & Champagne event with sushi, sashimi and raw-bar selections. The resort also plans a Loyalty Toast for IHG One Rewards members. Event dates and reservation details should be confirmed with the resort before travel.
Time by the pool, at the spa and with family
Between celebrations, guests will be able to spend time at Cove Pool + Spa Bar or book a spa treatment using Phytomer products. For those who want to stay active, the resort plans pickleball and padel alongside Pilates and gym sessions.
Younger guests will have activities at Planet Trekkers, the property’s children’s program. Together, the pool, sports and family options give travelers ways to shape the days around the holiday meals rather than following a fixed schedule.
