An assortment of men’s, women’s and kids’ footwear, outerwear, loungewear and accessories, the rock pool-inspired collection is filled with captivating textures and styles, organic patterns, and flashes of bright colours.
Building on the brands sustainability efforts and following the summer ’19 launch of Hunter REBOOT*, the SS20 collection features a capsule of versatile shell jackets made from 100% recycled polyester from second use water bottles. See below for additional product highlights.
Beneath the tides of the west coast of Scotland is a world teaming with life, colour and drama. It is here in the rockpools, these intertidal kingdoms, that Hunter has found inspiration for Spring Summer 2020.
The Hunter Spring Summer 2020 collection explores the nooks, crannies and crevices of rockpools above and below the water. The calm of the shallows, with the liquid rubber-like seaweed floating atop and dangerously sharp shells and pebbles of the pool bed inspire the Refined collection. Meanwhile, the captivating textures, organic patterns and flashes of bright colour of this below-tide world kick-off the Original collection. It’s the Kids collection where the zany colours of this shallow oasis are truly explored.
Statement outerwear
Celebrating the British weather in true Hunter style, the Hero Vinyl comes in Cropped Smock for women, Coach Jacket for men and the popular Hunting Coat silhouette for men and women. The contrast pockets make a statement against the hazy white vinyl with functional vents to ensure breathability. To continue to make a statement, whatever the weather, Hunter also introduces the ultra lightweight, water resistant Nylon Rain Breaker and Parka for women and Anorak and Mac for men.
Hunter Crossbody and Bumbag Collection
Taking inspiration from Japan, one of Hunter’s largest markets, Hunter introduces the Original Ripstop Sacoche. Designed to be worn like a crossbody, the Sacoche is made from water resistant material and able to fit a 9-inch tablet and is available in Hunter Exploded Logo and Black, Navy and Blue Bottle. Set to be a sell-out, Hunter also launches the Crossbody / Bumbag in Nylon in Nori Slug Camo Print for SS20 and continues the success of the packable Crossbody in exciting new Exploded Logo updates.
Hunter Iconic Heritage
Every Hunter Original collection bears a form of camo print and the SS 2020 collection is no different. Launching a playful take on the print by using the silhouette of a sea slug character, the image has been duplicated and morphed to create the Slug camo print across the most iconic and recognised Wellington boot; the Hunter Original Tall and Short boots available for men, women and children. Each boot is handcrafted from 28 parts and remains the most iconic wellington boot in the world.
Sustainability
After launching Hunter REBOOT in Summer 2019, Hunter maintains its commitment to sustainability both socially and environmentally. Dedicated to innovating with sustainable materials, Hunter’s Shell Cagoule and Jacket for light summer showers and Insulated Shell for cooler climates are made from 100% recycled polyester from second use plastic bottles. They feature a water-resistant finish with a fluorocarbon free rain resistance.
Hunter Track
With the huge success of Hunter’s Original t-shirt and sweatshirt, Hunter expand the range introducing the Original Track Top, Track Pant and Hoodie. Created with a brushed back fabric for added warmth and featuring a subtle tonal embroidered Hunter box logo throughout the collection, the collection is available for men and women in a variety of colours. The assortment is teamed with the ever popular packable Crossbody for the ultimate laid-back look.
High Summer
Hunter continues to support in all weather scenarios– come rain of shine. New additions to the summer sandal and slide collection include the simple and minimalist Original Outdoor Sandal with Velcro fastening, available in striking white, black or blue for women and kids. Hunter continues to increase the offering for poolside slides, with the Original Terry Towelling Logo Slide for super comfort with a towelling lining.
