INTRODUCING OUR EXCITING NEW SERENGETI CAMP GRAND MARA CAMP

2019 ushered into our folds an exciting new safari camp in one of the most spectacular places on earth… the Serengeti/Mara ecosystem. This is perhaps the most popular & exciting safari destination on the planet, and we’re thrilled to be able to offer it to our guests. This is the place where the “Great Migration” of wildebeest and zebra go during the dry season in search of greener pastures to help sustain them during their long journey around the Serengeti. The wildebeest & zebra are not the only critters searching for fresh new food sources. As the great herds attempt to cross the formidable Mara River, they have to evade all the hungry crocodiles… waiting for their next meal.

In addition to all the hungry crocs in the river, the Mara area offers a large number of all the Big Cat predators also in search of their next meal. The abundance of predators challenges the great herds as they enter and live in this portion of the Serengeti from roughly July thru October. Lion, leopard & cheetah all thrive in this area, and the big cats play a key role in our search for exciting photo ops on our daily safari game drives. The camp is set in a spectacular scenic location in the far northern part of the Serengeti in what is known as the Lamai Triangle. The Grand Mara Camp is secluded and offers a special element of privacy away from the majority of the safari going crowds. The camp is just a short drive from the Lamai airstrip and upon landing you will be game driving & exploring this special place in short order. This is a can’t miss opportunity to experience what is perhaps the “Greatest Show On Earth” and we’d be honored to show it to you in Grand Safari style.
