Santa Barbara Vintners is pleased to announce the return of the highly anticipated 42nd Annual Santa Barbara Vintners Festival, taking place Saturday, October 17, from noon to 4 p.m., with an exciting new setting at the scenic Folded Hills Private Ranch in Santa Barbara Wine Country.

Now in its 42nd year, the Vintners Festival remains the premier celebration of Santa Barbara Wine Country, bringing together the region’s most celebrated wineries, winemakers, chefs, and artisans for an immersive, one-day tasting experience. This year’s move to Folded Hills introduces a fresh, expansive backdrop, offering guests sweeping vineyard views and an elevated sense of place that reflects the spirit of the region.

Festival attendees will have the opportunity to sample wines from more than 70 local wineries, meet the winemakers behind each label, and explore the diversity that defines Santa Barbara County’s globally recognized wine region. In addition to exceptional wines, guests can enjoy gourmet bites from more than 20 regional restaurants and food purveyors, live music, educational wine talks, and the ever-popular Bubble Lounge, showcasing some of the area’s finest sparkling wines.

As part of the broader Vintners Festival Weekend, wineries throughout the region will also host exclusive dinners, tastings, and special events, inviting guests to further explore Santa Barbara Wine Country’s vibrant community and scenic landscapes.

Tickets are now on sale, with several options available:

  • Early Entry ($175): Access beginning at noon, offering a more intimate tasting experience with early access to wineries and chefs.
  • General Admission ($125): Entry at 1 p.m. with full access to tastings and festival experiences.
  • Locals Discount ($95): Available to Santa Barbara County residents (limited availability).
  • Non-Alcohol Ticket ($35): Access for designated drivers and non-alcohol guests.

Guests who purchase tickets by May 31 will be eligible for an exclusive early-bird promotion, including the chance to win a case of Santa Barbara County wine or a private tasting experience at Folded Hills’ lake dock.

“The Vintners Festival represents the heart of Santa Barbara Wine Country–our people, our passion, and the collaborative spirit that binds our community together,” said Alison Laslett, CEO of the Santa Barbara Vintners. “Whether it’s a multigenerational family winery or an emerging winery, every vintner in this industry shares a deep commitment to their craft and to this region. Hosting the festival at Folded Hills gives us a beautiful new setting to continue celebrating that shared mission in a way that feels authentic and true to who we are. It’s about connection–between winemakers, between our wines and our guests, and between all of us who call this region home.”

“Folded Hills is honored to host the Santa Barbara Vintners Festival for the first time,” said Kim Busch, Owner & Founder of Folded Hills Winery, Farmstead and Ranch. “Santa Barbara County is home to some of California’s finest vineyards and wineries. To welcome more than 70 wineries and thousands of guests to our estate is really special. There is a real camaraderie here among wineries, and to celebrate together at Folded Hills on October 17 is a true privilege.”

With its dynamic mix of wine, food, and local culture, the Santa Barbara Vintners Festival continues to offer one of California’s most celebrated wine experiences, set against the backdrop of one of the world’s most distinctive and expressive wine regions.
