In collaboration with RTC Sport, Barcelona (RTC), a leading provider of tennis coaching and certification, the resort is launching a tennis academy that will cater to guests of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced players.
Singles, Couples and Group coaching sessions with a certified coach from RTC who has over twenty years of experience, will take place on the resort’s immaculate tennis court, which is maintained at tournament standards and equipped with complimentary rackets, balls and flood lights for night matches. To go pro, guests can enroll in the RTC Certificate Program, a scientific and purposeful curriculum that covers the basics, techniques, tactics, and mental aspects of the game. The program is available for both adults and juniors and offers certification upon completion.
For those who want to spice up their tennis experience, The Standard, Huruvalhi Maldives also offers special RTC-led programs such as Lion’s Quest, a fun and interactive course for kids; Discover Tennis, a beginner course for adults; PairPlay for couples; and a more advanced Secret 8 course for improving specific aspects of the game. After fine-tuning their game, guests can book the resort’s photo studio for a professional photo shoot in full tennis kit, for an extra fee.
