Magnolia Hotel & Spa is thrilled to be named #1 City Hotel in Canada, as voted for by Travel  +  Leisure 2017 readers, with an overall score of 93.69.

Every year the readers of Travel + Leisure, the largest travel magazine brand in the United States, vote on their favourite destinations and hotels in the World’s Best Awards readers’ survey.

“We are absolutely overjoyed to be named as the top hotel in Canada for city accommodation,” says Magnolia Hotel & Spa’s general manager, Bill Lewis, who will travel to New York to attend the winners’ reception. “It’s an amazing achievement and it means so much that our guests, and readers of Travel + Leisure, have voted for us to win this prestigious award.”

According to Travel + Leisure correspondent Stirling Kelso: “Every stay feels personalized thanks to complimentary amenities (breakfast bites in the lobby; cruiser bikes and detailed neighborhood maps to explore town) and a staff that’s happy to fulfill special requests ranging from fresh flower deliveries to decadent bubble baths”.

The category showcases excellence in Canadian city accommodation, and also features Loden Hotel (Vancouver, #2), Auberge Saint-Antoine (Quebec City, #3), and Ritz-Carlton (Montreal, #7). Closer to home, Vancouver Island secured #1 Best Island in Canada, Victoria was recognized as #3 Best City in Canada.
