Icelandair is launching new direct service to Tromsø, Norway, this winter. Flights will be twice weekly between Keflavík International Airport and Tromsø starting 23 October 2026 through to 29 March 2027. At the same time, flights to Bergen will be extended into the winter season, making this second-largest Norwegian city a year-round destination. Operating on the Boeing 737-MAX8, the Tromsø route significantly enhances seasonal connectivity between Iceland and Norway. The service complements Icelandair's broader network expansion, offering travellersaccess to Norwegian culture, historic cities and stunning landscapes. For Norwegian travellers, the route offers an opportunity for convenient access to North America, without the needfor connecting flights through larger European hubs. Afternoon departures from Tromsø allow for smooth onward same-day connections to the US.
