Holiday
Santa’s sleigh will surely make its way to Fairmont Mayakoba, to explore one unique holiday experience. Consider spending a not so winter wonderland in the heat with your family and friends. Whether you’re a frolicking child or a jolly adult, you’ll enjoy pancakes in El Puerto handmade by Santa’s elves, or perhaps, a happy hour at Hix – Bar, Lounge & Terrace with Santa. Hix is also offering cookie decorating and an ugly Christmas t-shirt party. Perhaps you’d like to treat your significant other and little ones to an unforgettable evening on Christmas Eve, to indulge in various Mexican dishes at La Laguna, or a Festive Roast Dinner at Brisas, exploring live cooking stations and a Mexican Raw Bar.
Cuisine/Drinks
Have your ‘last supper’ of 2019 handmade by the Fairmont Culinary team featuring global delicacies at La Laguna or sparkle the night with a five course dinner and champagne toast with a taste of Asian and Latin cuisine at El Puerto. Ring in 2020, the year that will bring success, joy and love at the Hix, partaking in bottle specials and live entertainment. For those who like to rally, Bloody Mary and Mimosas will be in your near future at Ki’ Beach Bar & Korean BBQ. If you’re still enjoying the Mexican plates, feel free to stop at La Laguna for a special New Year’s Day Brunch.
Discovery Club & Adventure Camp
Kids 5-11 can enjoy epic adventures in the sacred Mayan jungle and learn about planet Earth’s natural and cultural wonders, with the guidance of Iggi the iguana, Chamu the monkey and Balam the jaguar, create unique handcrafts such as “Penachos” (Mayan inspired head dress) or make colorful paper banners, piñatas or Origami, among many other fun activities.
El Pueblito
Guests are invited to take a free shuttle to the village square, or “heart of Mayakoba” to live a true Mexican experience. El Pueblito is the center where all of the resorts in Mayakoba come together, each bringing a special contribution to the village. Fairmont Mayakoba’s contribution is a traditional Mexican candy store, Sweet Spot. Here, guests can enjoy all of the authentic Mexican sweets they desire. Other offerings at El Pueblito include: Coffee Shop & Bakery, Mexican Artisans, Cooking School, Burger Shop and an arcade.
After a long day of exploring, guests can rest and reflect in the tropical jungle that surrounds the Willow Stream Spa. Guests are also invited to enjoy massages under leafy foliage and relax their muscles in the resort’s sea-mineral soaking and vitality pools and Swiss showers. Local herbs and essential oils are also available, as part of Mayan tradition, to give guests the ultimate healing experience.
Experience the water by partaking in a wide range of activities including a guided catamaran tour, use of sea kayaks, stand up paddle boards and traditional snorkeling. For those looking to remain on land, a great game of beach volleyball awaits you.
Fairmont Mayakoba is definitely the vacation spot to consider this winter.
